Dear CHS Families,
If your student plans to drive to school during the 2026–2027 school year, a parent or guardian must complete the online parking application before a parking permit can be issued.
New this year: The parking application process is completely digital and must be completed by a parent or guardian prior to registration (link below). Parking permits will not be issued during registration unless the online application has already been submitted. If the application has not been completed before registration, students will need to return at a later date to receive their parking permit.
Important: The online parking application cannot be completed until your student has received their driver's license. Because the application requires your student's driver's license information, please wait until they are licensed before submitting the form. Once they have their driver's license, complete the application, and they can pick up their permit in the bookstore.
Parking permit options for the 2026–2027 school year are:
- General Parking Permit: $10
- Senior Reserved Parking Space: $20
Senior reserved parking spaces are available to seniors only and allow students to park in an assigned space in the north parking lot. These spaces are limited and will be assigned to seniors first. Any remaining general parking permits will be available to juniors and sophomores on a first-come, first-served basis.

The application includes important information about parking expectations, campus parking locations, and student responsibilities. Please take a few minutes to review the parking rules with your student before completing the application.
If you have any questions, please contact Matt Wright at mwright1@fusd1.org.
