CHS Summer Marching Band Camp

Week 1: Monday-Friday, July 21-25: 8am-4pm

Week 2: Monday-Friday, July 28-August 1: 5-8pm

*Band Camp Concert: Friday, August 1, 7pm (open to the public)

Meet in the CHS Band/Orchestra Room on Monday, July 21st @ 8am.

- During the Fall Semester
- There are 2 weeks of Band Camp before school begins. July 22nd-August 2nd (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm).
- We also have weekly rehearsals every Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm during the marching season.
- During band camp and Tuesday rehearsals, we learn a themed show which we perform at our home football games and 4 competitions.
- It’s a very fun and welcoming environment where students work really hard but also have a lot of fun!
- Marching Band counts as a PE credit (not health)
- This class is highly recommended to students who played a band instrument in middle school.
- Around mid-November we transition into concert band we perform our winter/holiday concert.
